The Town of Lincoln is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Solutions Analyst who effectively implements, enhances, and supports business solutions and the various integrations between systems.

The Solutions

Analyst is responsible for investigating and resolving issues pertaining the business solutions, including implementing upgrades and resolving conflicts or errors in applications.

Analyst will work closely with the staff and business areas in implementing business requirements for technology-related projects. In addition, the Solutions Analyst would work with staff and business areas in requirements gathering, planning, re-engineering of business processes, and the development of technical requirements.

Analyst will serve as the point of escalation for the Help Desk Analyst for “tier 2-3” tickets, software configuration or software development and will be required to participate in the Town’s IT on-call rotation.

The Successful Candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in IT, including business application support, system administration, or solutions delivery.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to effectively manage documents and collaborate across departments.




- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex application, integration, and system-related issues in a tier 2 and/or tier 3 support environment.
- Experience participating in software implementations, upgrades, testing, and technology-related projects.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a municipal or public sector environment is considered an asset.
- CBAP, PMP, ITIL, or other relevant business analysis, project management, or change management certifications are considered assets.
- Ability to participate in the Town's IT on-call rotation.

Town of Lincoln offers an attractive, competitive salary, benefits and pension package, a progressive hybrid work environment, and career advancement opportunities. The salary for this position (based on a 35-hour work week) is $72,608.90 – $84,941.22.
