Overview

Little Havana Café is Toronto's premier authentic Cuban coffee catering company, and we're growing. From film sets, corporate events to private celebrations across the GTA. We’ve worked with Porsche, Osprey Valley and the Raptors to productions like The Handmaid's Tale, The Boys, and Working Moms. We looking for a passionate barista to join the team.

Duties You'll craft our signature drinks, think classic Miami-style Cuban coffees, and a full menu of hot and iced specialty drinks.

- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain high food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Manage time efficiently during busy service periods to ensure quick turnaround and minimal wait times
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and transportation of catering equipment at various event locations

Qualifications

- What We're Looking For
- Barista experience is a must — cafés, hotel, and restaurant backgrounds are a must. Knowing how to work quick without compromising quality and customer service.




- On-call availability — film and TV productions don't run 9-to-5; flexibility on weekdays, evenings is essential
- Valid driver's licence — the locations are across the GTA
- Professional and personable — you're representing a brand with a great story, your energy is part of the experience.
- Spanish-speaking is a genuine asset — it's not required, but an asset
- Reliable and self-sufficient — on-location catering means that you're a self starter and problem-solving on the fly is part of the job.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
