Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of products and components, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards. Your expertise will help bring our products to life with durable, attractive coatings that enhance their appearance and longevity.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently, including airless sprayers and HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) systems
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately according to specifications using basic math skills
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and defects, making touch-ups or adjustments as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials in compliance with safety regulations
- Follow safety protocols diligently when handling paints, solvents, and power tools such as drills or grinders




- Collaborate with team members on assembly or machining tasks when required to meet production goals

Requirements

- Proven experience in spray painting within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Mechanical knowledge of spray equipment, hand tools, power tools, and welding processes is highly desirable
- Ability to operate forklifts or cranes is a plus; certification preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring components accurately
- Knowledge of machining, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools for surface preparation or minor repairs
- Solid attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks safely
