Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will oversee medication dispensing, ensure patient safety, and provide expert pharmaceutical care .

Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed in accordance with medical directives
- Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, inventory management, and patient interactions
- Stay current with evolving pharmaceutical regulations, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care




- Educate patients on medication adherence strategies to promote health outcomes and prevent adverse effects

Skills

- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and verify medication compatibility
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kroll experience is an asset
- Injection certified

Pay: From $67.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
