The UPS Store is seeking a dependable, creative, and customer-oriented Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong graphic design and print production skills alongside a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. You will consult with customers to design custom materials and manage complex print jobs, while also assisting with shipping, mailbox services, passport photos, and general retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with customers to understand and execute their graphic design needs for business cards, brochures, flyers, banners, and other marketing materials.
- Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create, edit, and prep files for optimal print quality.
- Manage the end-to-end print production process, ensuring proper formatting, color accuracy, bleeds, and margins.
- Provide complete document finishing services, including copying, scanning, laminating, binding, and cutting.
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service across all touchpoints.
- Process domestic and international shipments through UPS and other carrier services.
- Assist customers with packing, shipping labels, tracking, and shipping-related inquiries.
- Take and process passport and identification photos according to government requirements.
- Manage mailbox rentals, mail receiving, package handling, and customer notifications.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems while accurately processing payments.
- Promote and sell store products and services to customers.
- Maintain inventory levels and restock retail merchandise, paper stock, and shipping supplies.




- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and professionally maintained.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.
- Perform other store-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, or a print production environment.
- Proficiency with graphic design software (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva).
- Strong understanding of print terminology and file preparation (e.g., CMYK vs. RGB, bleeds, crop marks, DPI).
- Previous retail, customer service, or shipping experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to clearly translate customer ideas into finished designs.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn store POS and shipping systems quickly.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple print queues, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages or boxes of paper stock up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, qualified, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
