Position Overview: We’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and community-minded Lumberyard Manager to lead daily operations, support our staff, and ensure our customers get the best service and products possible. This is a leadership role with a hands-on approach—perfect for someone who knows the industry and values relationships as much as results.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day yard operations, inventory, and staff scheduling

· Manage purchasing, receiving, and stock control of lumber and building materials

· Lead and mentor a small team of yard workers and delivery drivers

· Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient yard and storefront

· Build strong relationships with contractors, homeowners, and suppliers

· Ensure excellent customer service and problem-solving on the spot

· Monitor budgets, margins, and sales performance





· Collaborate with ownership on business strategy and growth

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience in lumber, hardware, or building supply industry

· Proven leadership and team management skills

· Solid organizational and communication abilities

· Comfortable with inventory systems and basic computer tasks

· Forklift certification and Class 5 driver’s license preferred

· Physically capable of lifting and moving materials (up to 75 lbs)

· A positive attitude and commitment to community values
