Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Tandem Operator to join our construction team. Duties

- Operate tandem trucks for the transportation of materials across construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Handle heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers to assist with site preparation, grading, excavation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate material deliveries and site logistics efficiently




- Assist with general construction tasks using mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery and tools
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and delivery documentation
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment

Requirements

- A current / up to date class 1 license. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in operating tandem trucks or similar vehicles
- Proven experience with basic operating heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks
- Prior construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is essential

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
