Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Clinic (TECL) and Outreach Supervisor to join our team at Kikkawa College in Toronto. In this role, you will supervise students in our teaching clinic and community outreach initiatives, ensuring safe, professional, and ethical client care. You will mentor aspiring massage therapists, support their clinical development, and represent the college at outreach events.

This is an on-site position running 2–3 days per week (Monday to Friday) according to the availability, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Final schedule will be provided.

Duties

- Supervise students in the teaching clinic and during community outreach activities.
- Ensure client safety, professionalism, and adherence to CMTO standards and college policies.
- Oversee client intake, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation completed by students.
- Provide hands-on guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship to support student learning.
- Coordinate outreach logistics, including scheduling, supplies, and communication with community partners.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, client visits,



and incident reports.
- Ensure clinic and outreach equipment, supplies, and environments are clean, safe, and organized.
- Collaborate with faculty and clinic coordinators to support program objectives.

Requirements

- Current registration in positive standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) – mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
- Previous supervisory, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and professional ethics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage group supervision and clinic flow effectively.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
