Duties

- Safely operate tractor-trailers with Automatic transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load & unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security
- Deliver refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized freight efficiently while maintaining proper handling procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate load assignments, optimize routes, and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours,



delivery documentation, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly

Skills

- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving operations involving tractor-trailers
- Strong knowledge of route driving, load securing, and freight handling procedures for various trailer types including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off trucks
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently
- Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent driving record demonstrating secure driving habits over time
- Familiarity with load securing techniques for different types of freight to prevent damage during transit
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
