Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing, and we're looking for a collaborative and client-focused professional to join the Front Row team as a Technical Account Executive at our office in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you'll build lasting client relationships while providing expert insurance advice and tailored risk solutions. You'll help clients navigate complex risks, protect what matters most, and drive growth through retention, business development, and strategic account management.

This is a hybrid role.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $96,000 to $120,000 based on a 37.5-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

Why We’ll Love You

- You have 3+ years of commercial insurance experience as a broker, underwriter, or in a similar role
- You hold a valid property and casualty insurance license (Level 2, RIBO, or equivalent)
- You have strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, cyber, D&O;, and E&O; coverages
- You build trusted client relationships and provide exceptional consultative service
- You have experience managing and growing a book of business
- You are a confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience in entertainment insurance is considered a strong asset

Once Here, You'll

- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients through retention and new business development
- Assess client exposures and provide tailored insurance and risk management solutions
- Prepare marketing submissions, proposals, and renewal strategies for clients and insurers
- Negotiate coverage terms and pricing with insurance markets
- Identify opportunities for account rounding,



cross-selling, and upselling
- Collaborate with Account Managers and service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Represent Front Row Insurance at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities while building strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry partners
