About the Position
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Technical Officer (Swimming Pools and Aquatic Facilities) to join the Shire of Broome.
The Technical Officer (Swimming Pools and Aquatic Facilities) will be responsible for assisting the Shire of Broome in protecting community health and safety by inspecting, assessing and monitoring the compliance of current and existing swimming pools and aquatic facilities. The role ensures that all facilities meet legislative requirements and that accurate records, registers and documentation are maintained.

About You
Our ideal candidate will will be a motivated, community‑minded professional who demonstrates strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to interpret and apply swimming pool and aquatic facility legislation. They will bring well‑developed communication skills, sound time‑management capability, and a willingness to learn technical requirements associated with pool compliance and inspection work.
