Technical Writer

- We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer for a Remote 12 month Contract that may convert to permanent to support IT projects by creating, maintaining, and improving transparent, accurate, and user-friendly technical and business documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business teams to translate complex information into documentation that is easy to understand and aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain technical and business documentation for IT projects and initiatives.
- Translate complex technical and business information into clear, accurate, and accessible content.
- Work closely with Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Product Owners, and leadership stakeholders to gather and validate information.
- Review existing documentation and identify gaps, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and areas for improvement.




- Ensure documentation meets quality, accessibility, compliance, and governance standards.
- Organize and maintain documentation within Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar repositories.
- Support documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure documentation reflects current processes, systems, requirements, and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, standards, and templates.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation-focused role.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience creating technical and business documentation for IT projects.
- Experience working with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar documentation repositories.
- Excellent written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Scrum, or similar project management tools.
- Experience supporting cloud-based platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with enterprise IT teams and complex technical environments.
