Role Description The Temp Dental Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at our Mississauga, ON location. This role is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a positive front-desk experience. Day-to-day tasks include answering and directing phone calls, booking and confirming appointments, updating patient records, and handling payment processing.

Qualifications

- Abeldent Experience is mandatory.
- Strong receptionist skills, including front-desk operations and general administrative duties.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and managing patient bookings in practice management software.
- Knowledge of dental care settings and familiarity with common dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent phone etiquette and clear, professional communication skills with patients and team members.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office reception role is an asset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable handling payments, insurance information, and confidential patient data in line with privacy regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site full time for the duration of the temporary assignment.
