A great Tire and Lube Technician is a valuable member of any automotive repair facility. We work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment where teamwork and attention to detail is crucial to ensure a safe, efficient workplace and a positive customer service experience. A Tire and Lube Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks which we have outlined below.

Tire, Lube and Shop duties

- Tire Repairs – responsible for determining the best method of repair, then completing the repair or making recommendations for replacement if necessary.
- Tire Installation – mounting tires on rims, balancing of newly mounted tires, installation of mounted and balanced tires on vehicles ensuring that all check-points have been covered such as proper inflation, rotation, wheel torque, resetting TPMS, etc.
- Rotation – ensure proper rotation of tires, documenting of rotation for future reference
- Lube Services: draining/filling engine oil, filter checks and replacements, general inspection and specific recommendation reports.




- Ensuring the work area and the shop is kept neat and tidy including cleaning/sweeping daily.
- Ensure that all equipment and general parts required for tire services are well maintained and that stock is sufficient on commonly used parts/supplies.
- Dispose of used items in appropriate recycling areas and notify the Shop Manager when removal is required.

Skills/Qualifications required
- Some previous experience/knowledge in the automotive trade preferred. Preference given to those with Tire and Lube Technician experience
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers License
- Must be physically capable of lifting items up to 50lbs
- Must be available to work full time, 5 days a week + overtime and Saturdays when required

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$24.00 per hour
