Tire Shop Customer Service, Delivery & Warehouse Assistant

Location: NE Calgary, AB

Pay: $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Type: Part-time / Casual, with potential for additional hours

About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our growing tire business in NE Calgary.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that combines customer service, computer work, local deliveries, warehouse duties, and general tire shop operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable switching between working at a computer, helping customers, driving for deliveries, and doing physical work in the shop and warehouse.

This is not a desk-only or labour-only position. We are looking for someone who can communicate professionally with customers, handle orders and payments accurately, and also be comfortable lifting, moving, loading, and unloading tires throughout the day.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Administration

- Assist customers in person, by phone, and through messages
- Answer basic questions regarding tire availability, pricing, orders, and services
- Create and update customer profiles
- Process customer orders and prepare invoices
- Process payments using our POS system
- Enter customer and order information accurately
- Use computer systems for invoicing, inventory, and other administrative tasks
- Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers

Deliveries & Driving
- Deliver tires to local tire shops, automotive shops, dealerships, and customers
- Load and unload tires safely




- Organize deliveries and ensure the correct products are delivered
- Pick up tires, parts, and other business-related items when required
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with customers and other businesses

Tire Shop & Warehouse Operations
- Load, unload, move, and organize tires
- Pick and prepare tire orders for customers and deliveries
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas
- Assist with receiving incoming tire shipments
- Keep the shop and warehouse clean and organized
- Assist with general shop operations as required

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job. Applicants must be comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.

The position regularly involves

- Lifting and carrying tires
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Moving and stacking tires in the warehouse
- Repeated bending, lifting, carrying, and standing
- Working on your feet for extended periods
- Working in different weather conditions when loading/unloading or making deliveries

Applicants should be comfortable safely handling tires weighing approximately 20–75+ lbs, depending on tire size.

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Safe and responsible driving habits




- Comfortable driving locally for deliveries
- Basic to strong computer skills
- Comfortable learning new software and POS systems
- Valuable customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physically demanding work and lifting tires
- Previous experience in a tire shop, automotive shop, warehouse, delivery, retail, customer service, or administration is an asset but not required
