Job Summary Import Tool Corporation is looking for a reliable and mechanically minded Tool Technician to join our team.

The Tool

Technician will be responsible for servicing, testing, repairing, rebuilding, and assembling downhole and conventional tools while maintaining a safe and organized shop environment. Your expertise will support our commitment to high-quality service, safety standards, and operational excellence. Duties & Responsibilities

- Service, clean, repair, rebuild, assemble, and paint downhole and conventional tools.
- Perform hydrostatic pressure and functional testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Accurately measure, record, and enter tool dimensional data into the LOM system.
- Deliver and pick up equipment and orders, including protected loading and securing of materials.
- Maintain shop tools, equipment, inventory, and supplies.
- Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with Tool Technicians and the Shop Foreman to improve shop efficiency.
- Participate actively in safety and operational meetings.
- Follow all company ISO, quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE),



and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary mechanical training is an asset.
- Previous oilfield, drilling, or downhole tool experience is considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
- Ability to successfully complete required company training, including WHMIS/GHS, First Aid, forklift, and overhead crane certification.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Occasional overtime as required)

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
