Position Overview

Tiger Tool is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to support the company’s growing international trade compliance program. This junior-level role will work closely with our existing Trade Compliance team and provide hands-on support across customs documentation, country-of-origin analysis, tariff classification, supplier documentation, record retention, and ongoing compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, comfortable working with detailed documentation, and interested in developing a career in trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, or broader business operations. Over time, the role may also provide exposure to customer service and commercial operations as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Compliance

· Review commercial invoices, customs entries, certificates, and other trade documentation for accuracy and consistency.

· Work with suppliers to obtain required compliance documentation, such as certificates of origin, manufacturing information, declarations, and supporting records.

· Assist with customs broker and freight forwarder inquiries and follow up on documentation or entry discrepancies.

· Assist with internal trade compliance reviews and periodic product or supplier audits.

· Assist with gathering information for product reviews, including bills of materials, manufacturing processes, supplier information, and cost data.

· Support the review and maintenance of certificates of origin, USMCA documentation, supplier declarations, and other compliance records.

· Support the Trade Compliance team by updating and maintaining internal Excel trackers and working papers





· Monitor regulatory developments and assist with assessing potential impacts to Tiger Tool.

Customer Service

· Communicating professionally with customers, distributors, suppliers, and internal teams to help resolve order, shipping, or documentation-related questions.

· Developing a strong understanding of Tiger Tool products and customer requirements to support clear and responsive communication.

Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

· Previous experience in trade compliance, customs, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or a related business environment would be an asset, but is not required.

· Solid attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with documentation and data.

· Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel

· Able to communicate professionally with suppliers, brokers, freight providers, customers, and internal teams.

· Curious, willing to learn, and comfortable asking questions when something does not look right.

Growth Opportunity

This role provides an opportunity to build practical experience in international trade compliance while working alongside an experienced team.

The successful candidate will develop knowledge in customs, supply chain, international trade, supplier documentation, and product compliance while gradually taking on greater responsibility as their experience grows. Over time, there may also be opportunities to expand into customer service, sales support, logistics, or other operational areas depending on business needs and the employee’s interests and strengths.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
