Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care, particularly in acute care settings. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies.




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in physiotherapy techniques and technologies.

Requirements

- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
