We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the Property Management team in Calgary as aVacant Unit Inspector. This position plays a key role in monitoring several vacant units across this city. Applicants must have their own vehicle to drive and be available to work variable hours.

Regular inspections occur on the following schedule and change to DAILY during extreme cold weather ie, Cold Weather Protocol

MONDAY - WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY

Schedules can be altered due to holidays as well as daily site services are required in cold weather protocol. Lists must be completed on their scheduled day and occasional daily overtime can occur.

Use of personal vehicle required - mileage paid per AB govt standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in property management, maintenance, residential/condo management is an asset.
- General maintenance is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Pleasant, outgoing personality.
- Resourceful and self-motivated.
- Capacity to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize work without sacrificing detail or accuracy
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach.




- Excellent team player with ability to maintain a positive, helpful attitude.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Ability to pass a criminal record check

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Become familiar with and abide by all company policies and procedures.
- Perform the assigned duties and responsibilities in a diligent and professional manner in keeping with company standards and expectations.
- Manage a set of master keys during each shift and return them to the office at the end of each day.
- Perform checks/inspections of vacant units, as scheduled.
- Report on the status of Vacant units and inform the necessary parties of any urgently required concerns.
- Ability to drive to several locations in a day.
- Ability to access several units a day andinspect all floors via stairs as required.

You will also perform related duties and other duties assigned from time to time by the Company. The Company reserves the right to modify these duties as it deems appropriate. This is a part-time, position with hours Sunday through Saturday 7:30am-4:30pm.
