Royal City Animal Hospital is looking for a reliable, friendly, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and gently handle animals.
- Assist the veterinary team with patient care and procedures.
- Prepare and clean examination and treatment areas.
- Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries.
- Maintain patient records using Avimark.
- Keep the hospital clean and organized.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous veterinary, animal-care, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Comfortable handling animals.
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable availability for evening and Saturday shifts.

Availability Required:





- Weekday evenings: approximately 3:00p.m – 6:00/7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 8:45 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Monday daytime availability is also a plus, and additional hours may be available.
