We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our animal patients and supporting our veterinary staff.

Candidates must be available to work Saturdays as scheduled

Duties include but are not limited to

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing medical care to animals
- Prepare treatment area and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Restrain animals during examinations and procedures prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Administration duties such as invoicing ,



communicating follow-up recommendations and patient care instructions

- Responsible for cat boarding
- Monitoring patient comfort and well-being
- Cleaning and tidiness of the treatment area, surgery room and kennel facility.

Qualifications

- Organized and able to multitask
- Reliable, punctual and adaptable to changing hospital needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $16.50-$19.00 per hour
