Part-Time Housekeeper

East Hamilton | 20 hours per week

We are a busy professional family with three young children seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive housekeeper to provide consistent support in our family home.

This is a hands-on position combining housekeeping, laundry, home organization, light meal preparation, and general household support. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining an orderly home, notices what needs attention, and can work independently without requiring continual reminders.

Schedule

20 hours per week, divided over four or five days
The successful candidate may propose their preferred days and hours
The agreed schedule must remain consistent from week to week
Workdays must be reasonably spread throughout the week rather than scheduled on four consecutive days
Daytime availability is preferred

Primary Responsibilities

Clean and reset the kitchen
Complete general household tidying and make the beds
Wash, dry, fold, and put away the family’s laundry
Tidy and organize the children’s bedrooms, toys, books, drawers, and closets
Follow and maintain the home’s existing labelled organizational systems
Change and wash bed linens on a regular schedule
Monitor basic household supplies and provide a weekly list of items that need replenishing
Notice and report household items requiring repair, replacement, or additional attention




Suggest practical organizational improvements when existing systems are not working
Prepare or assemble Hello Fresh meals when time permits and core household responsibilities are complete

Previous professional housekeeping, household-assistant, or home-organization experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be able to provide recent references and complete a paid trial period.
