Spartan Snow Services is a commercial snow and ice management company servicing the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions. We specialize strictly in commercial winter maintenance and are seeking reliable, skilled Walkway Crew Members to join our team for the winter season.

Position Details

- Job Types: Seasonal (Winter)
- Location: In-person (Richmond Hill, ON)
- Schedule: On-call 24/7 availability during active winter weather periods. Must be able to respond to calls for snow and ice events with 1 (one) hour notice (including weekends and holidays).

Key Responsibilities

- Clear walkways safely using hand tools and snow blowers, apply de-icing agents, and pile snow in designated areas without damaging client property.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, GPS/dash cams, and winter equipment, including conducting pre-shift inspections and basic greasing/fueling.
- Wear appropriate PPE and winter gear, and adhere strictly to all health, safety, and company policies.
- Show up fit for duty (zero tolerance for drugs/alcohol impairment)



and adhere to the strict no-smoking/vaping policy inside company vehicles.
- Accurately complete work logs, track hours and expenses, report site obstacles, and communicate politely with customers.

Qualifications

- Maintain a valid driver’s license and be eligible to be insured under Spartan Snow’s automobile insurance policy.
- Reliable transportation in winter weather.
- Robust physical capability to perform manual labor and operate snow removal tools in adverse winter conditions.

Compensation
- Guaranteed Monthly Standby Pay: $200-300/week, paid monthly
- PLUS Competitive Hourly Pay: $20.00-30.00/hour on top of your standby pay
