Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience and familiarity with various material handling equipment and systems. Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and managing inventory levels
- Perform order picking, packing, and packaging to prepare products for shipment or storage
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and products in accordance with safety guidelines
- Support construction or manufacturing activities as needed, including the operation of heavy machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in load & unload operations, ensuring timely movement of goods throughout the facility




- Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures

Qualifications

- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or manufacturing environments preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers required
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and shipping & receiving tasks
- Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision
- Prior warehouse experience involving order picking, packaging, and load & unload operations preferred
