Warehouse Manager

Schriemer Family Farm is looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our produce warehouse. This position is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, managing warehouse employees, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring food safety procedures and records are properly followed.

The Warehouse Manager will play an important role in keeping the warehouse organized and ensuring orders are received, prepared, and shipped accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and oversee incoming and outgoing trucks, including receiving and shipping product.
- Verify incoming and outgoing loads for quantities, product condition, accuracy, and required documentation.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks and ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Supervise warehouse employees, assign daily tasks, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for produce, packaging materials, and other warehouse supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse.
- Complete and maintain required food safety records, inspections, shipping/receiving records, and traceability documentation.
- Ensure employees follow company food safety, sanitation, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with product traceability and lot tracking as required.
- Monitor product storage and ensure products are kept under appropriate conditions.
- Communicate with management, truck drivers, employees, and other departments regarding shipments, inventory, and daily warehouse requirements.
- Identify and resolve shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse issues as they arise.
- Help train recent warehouse employees and ensure company procedures are followed.
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as required.

What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility for a busy warehouse environment. They should be able to manage employees while also being willing to work hands-on when required.

Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, agriculture, produce, food safety, or supervisory experience is an asset. Strong organizational and communication skills are important, along with basic computer and record-keeping abilities.

This position is well suited for someone who takes ownership of their work, can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, cleanliness, organization, and food safety.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 65.0 per week
