The Warehouse Team Lead reports to the Warehouse Manager, and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operational requirements for the business. As a leader of employee teams, the Team Lead set the pace for the day ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed and that Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded by their team.

The Team

Lead works directly on the warehouse floor and assists the warehouse manager with workflow, employee training, troubleshooting, quality, and achieve Service Level Agreements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily production activities within assigned work areas.
- Assist employees with production methods and technical issues.
- Train and mentor new employees.
- Ensure work instructions and quality requirements are followed.
- Monitor work-in-process and production flow.
- Identify defects or production concerns and escalate them appropriately.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Perform production work as required.
- Coordinate cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and material shortages
- Support inventory data management or as backup in the ERP/SBT system
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Act as Warehouse Supervisor when delegated.

Qualifications





- 3+ years of manufacturing and warehouse operation experience.
- Strong computer skills, specifically MS office.
- Better have experience in a 3rd party logistics environment.
- Demonstrated strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be a resourceful self-starter with exceptional labour planning skills.
- Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates.
- Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Works well under pressure.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm to tasks at hand, and high energy level.
- Ability to lift cartons or bins repetitively that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- A successful Team Leader is a professional, well organized, effective team player.

· Forklift skill is required.
- Minimum High School diploma; College diploma preferred.

Pay: Up to $50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
