We are looking for skilled carpenter journey or roofer journey to fill full-time positions in building maintenance.

:

- Perform waterproofing and building envelope repair and maintenance work.
- Install and repair waterproofing membranes, sealants, caulking, flashing, and related materials.
- Prepare surfaces for waterproofing and restoration applications.Measure, order, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
- Perform concrete and masonry repairs as required.
- Remove damaged or deteriorated materials and prepare areas for repair.
- Assist with leak investigation, water ingress repairs, and building envelope maintenance.
- Apply sealants and waterproofing products according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow project specifications, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, swing stages,



or other access equipment when required and properly trained.
- Install, repair or replace flat roofs as well as shingles, shakes or other roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
- Shinglers install and replace shingles, tiles and similar coverings on sloped roofs. They are employed by roofing and general contractors, or they may be self-employed.
- Fit and install trim items such as windows, doors, stairs, decks, flashings and hardware
- Complete framing repairs for wood frame constructed buildings.
- Maintain and repair exterior building envelope.
- Repair or install new roofing materials including torch-on, shingles, sheet and liquid membrane.
- Other duties as required.

Requirements and qualifications:

- Previous experience in waterproofing, building envelope, restoration, construction, concrete, masonry, or a related trade is an asset.
- Experience with commercial or high-rise buildings is an asset.
- Enthusiasm and decent work attitude
- Own tools or equipment.
- Valid BC driver’s license is an asset, but not required.
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Criminal record check will be done.
