We are actively in search of a dedicated Waterfowl Guide for our camp located in East/ Central Alberta. This is an ideal position for somebody who enjoys engaging with clients, applying their own waterfowl knowledge, and spending time outdoors. Position is also open for a camp assistant with less experience who is eager to learn and gain intel on the waterfowl world.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and outdoors-oriented Waterfowl Guide / Game Assistant to join our hunting operation in East Central Alberta. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, has a strong knowledge of waterfowl hunting, and takes pride in providing guests with a safe, organized, and memorable hunting experience.

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of guided waterfowl hunts, including field preparation, decoy setup, calling, bird retrieval, equipment maintenance, guest support, and general camp duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with guiding waterfowl hunts for ducks and geese.
- Set up and take down decoys, blinds, and hunting equipment.
- Scout fields.
- Assist with waterfowl calling and hunt setup.
- Clean and organize hunting equipment and vehicles after each hunt.
- Assist guests with equipment, clothing, blinds, decoys, and general hunt preparation.
- Maintain a skilled and welcoming attitude with clients.
- Follow all Alberta hunting regulations, landowner requirements, and company safety procedures.
- Assist with camp setup, meals, cleaning, and other general duties when required.
- Help maintain hunting properties, blinds,



equipment, and vehicles throughout the season.
- Work effectively in changing weather conditions and physically demanding outdoor environments.

Qualifications:
- Previous waterfowl hunting experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Alberta duck and goose species, hunting practices, and waterfowl behaviour.
- Strong firearm safety knowledge and responsible firearm handling.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (vehicle for scouting can be negotiated if needed).
- Ability to work early mornings, long days, weekends, and holidays during the hunting season.
- Physically capable of walking long distances, carrying equipment, and working outdoors in cold weather.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Previous guiding, outfitting, farming, landscaping, mechanics, or outdoor-industry experience is an asset.
