Thunder Bay International Airports Authority Inc. (TBIAA) is seeking technically skilled and adaptable individuals for the role of Winter Maintenance Technician (WMT). The successful candidates will report to the Airport Operations Manager.

Teamwork and the ability to make appropriate decisions are critical to the safety and success of this position.

The WMT performs manual and equipment work and operates standard and specialized equipment to provide airport terminal, airside and groundside maintenance throughout the winter season.

Basic Requirements for the Position:

Bl - Valid class "DZ" license

B2 - Secondary school diploma, and/or an equivalent combination of relevant education & experience.

B3 - Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Additional Qualifications:

Education

El - Post secondary diploma or training specializing in heavy equipment operation, emergency response or other related specialties would be an asset.
