Looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and crafty people to add to our wreath making team! Position is Full time/seasonal, meaning full time hours beginning October 19 until December 4. Exact end-date will depend on when all orders are completed. We are expecting this to be around December 4th this year, but the end date is subject to change.

Pay: Starting at $17.95 per hour

Hours: Monday- Friday 7am-6:30pm

This job takes place both indoors and outdoors, rain/snow or shine.

All new hires without prior experience will begin doing the outdoor portion for the first 2-3 weeks. After this, you will take turns and rotate who is indoors and who is outside. Employees with previous experience will also need to work outdoors, but may be moved inside sooner than the 2 weeks.

The outside portion of the job consists of sorting through piles of brush and trimming and cutting out any branches that are not usable for making the wreaths and garland.

The indoor portion of the job is the making of the actual wreaths. You will select and trim pieces of brush and insert them into a metal ring and use a table clamp to hold everything together. You will only be making plain wreaths. Decorating wreaths is not a part of this job. For a general idea of what would be involved,

Employees are responsible for bringing the appropriate clothing for the job each day. We recommend dressing in layers, and having a sweater or old jacket that you do not mind getting ruined, as you will likely get a lot of sap on your clothing. A rain coat, hat and rubber boots are also recommended for the days you are working outdoors.

You will need to bring your own lunch and snacks every day. You get 2 fifteen-minute breaks and a half-hour lunch every day, and there are no coffee shops/restaurants closer than a 10 minute drive each way.

Please note: This position is for making the physical wreath, not decorating wreaths. The majority of wreaths sold each year are sold plain to schools and clubs for fundraisers.
