Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Cleaner to maintain and enhance the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces. This role involves performing various landscaping, gardening, and maintenance tasks to ensure the yard remains clean, safe, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience with landscape maintenance tools and techniques.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for land clearing and grading projects
- Perform irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Conduct gardening activities including planting, pruning, mowing, and weed control
- Maintain horticultural elements by caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plantings
- Carry out landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, mulching, and fertilizing
- Use hand tools and power tools for various construction and maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs as needed
- Assist with general construction activities related to outdoor projects




- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all yard activities

Requirements

- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their repair is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and basic repairs is desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is beneficial
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently
- Prior experience in landscaping or yard maintenance roles is advantageous but not mandatory
