A3 District is a dance production and rehearsal studio based in Burnaby, Canada. We offer a wide variety of dance styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Locking, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theatre, Popping, and Tap. Role Description

This is a full time or part-time on-site role as an Assistant Director for our Youth Dance Programming and Front of House (FOH) Administrator, located in Burnaby, BC. This position will be responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting and assisting customers, answering emails, checking dancers in, handling retail transactions and administrative tasks. It will also require assistance to the director to build and grow dance programs withing the company.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining studio cleanliness, processing payments, and communicating with staff and clients to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in administrative tasks, including payment processing




- Ability to manage front desk operations efficiently
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using office software and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Creative and solution based problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a dance studio or similar environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are beneficial
- Video filming and editing skills a plus
- Driver's license & personal transportation an asset

Terms This position is contract based, but looking for someone who is interested in building a career within the company. Long term investment for the right candidate.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week
