Job Summary

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Greenhouse Workers to support daily greenhouse operations. The role involves planting, cultivating, harvesting, packing, and maintaining crops while following workplace health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plant, transplant, water, and maintain greenhouse crops.
- Monitor plants for pests, diseases, and overall growth.
- Prune, trim, stake, and provide general plant care as required.
- Harvest crops according to quality and production requirements.
- Sort, grade, weigh, label, and pack harvested produce.
- Prepare soil, growing media, containers,



and planting areas.
- Maintain clean and organized greenhouse work areas.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of plants and materials.
- Operate basic greenhouse tools and equipment safely.
- Follow instructions, production schedules, and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous greenhouse, farm, horticulture, or agricultural experience is an asset.
- No formal degree required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in warm and humid greenhouse conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and seasonal peak periods.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
