Maple Leaf Foods is located at Mississauga – Financial Dr., ON. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Customer Business Development Representative – Metro. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Annual Salary: $59,000 – $87,000 CAD

Location: Mississauga – Financial Dr., ON

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of forecasting, feature planning and order fulfillment while liaising with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
The candidate will be responsible for attending and progressively leading key customer meetings, including business reviews, planning meetings and new product presentations, alongside Customer Business Development Managers.
The candidate will provide back-up support to Customer Business Development Managers, including vacation coverage and other required support.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting analysis, identifying key insights and making recommendations related to key performance indicators, trends and future opportunities such as sales volume, trade spending, KAAP, shopper marketing programs, new product launches, pricing and credit note spending.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing customer presentations and communications covering product launches, customer business plans and reviews, promotions, merchandising and pricing.
The candidate must clearly communicate customer requirements to all relevant internal functions.




The candidate will ensure systems and processes are effectively managed and continuously improved.
The candidate must recognize opportunities to reduce costs and provide recommendations for improvement.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the customer team with information requests, key insights, recommendations and processes, including supporting external processes and leading and supporting internal processes.
The candidate must build a strong understanding of the customer in order to provide value-added services to the customer team and customers.
The candidate must provide information and insights to support internal business functions.
The candidate must identify and improve internal processes to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and external focus.
Job Requirements The candidate must have post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on business.
The candidate must have 2-3 years of work experience in a sales or marketing function.
The candidate should have previous experience handling key accounts, which will be considered an asset.
The candidate must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and good systems knowledge of Cognos and BPCS.
The candidate must have strong analytical skills and the ability to gain and communicate key insights.
The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills.
The candidate must have valuable verbal and written communication skills.




The candidate must be highly organized, fact-based and detail oriented.
The candidate must be able to anticipate internal and external customers' needs and proactively seek to satisfy those needs.
