Our client is seeking a meticulous and client-focused Event Catering Coordinator to manage the operational aspects of catering for events in Kimberley . This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with clients, kitchen staff, and service teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring that every event meets the highest standards of quality and service, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate all logistical requirements for assigned catering events, ensuring timely execution of all tasks.
- Liaise directly with clients to confirm event details, menu selections, and any special requests.
- Create and distribute detailed event orders to the kitchen and service teams.
- Manage inventory and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available for each event.
- Supervise on-site catering staff during events, providing guidance and ensuring service standards are met.




- Address any client concerns or operational issues that arise during an event promptly and professionally.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in catering coordination, event management, or a similar role.
- Robust organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in relevant software for planning and communication.
- A foundational understanding of food and beverage service is beneficial.
