Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic Local 14x14 to join our Distribution business in (Fort McMurray, AB). Local 14x14 Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on recent and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:



Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software Qualifications This is a days and nights 14x14 Field Service position Must pass D&A testing Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionLocally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Basic level field service work experienceIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsCustomer service experience Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
