In this day shift role from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, you'll work within a dedicated team at Savaria. Your task will focus on polishing and preparing aluminum and brass, vital for our elevator assembly process. A robust background in manufacturing with knowledge of hand tools is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean metal parts using grinders and hand tools
• Polish aluminum and brass materials for assembly
• Prepare packing slips and complete work order records
• Collaborate effectively with production staff
• Lift up to 35 lbs. frequently during tasks
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and 2-3 years in a relevant field
• Proficient in reading safety instructions
• Mathematical skills for accurate calculations
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal abilities
• Physical capability to handle required lifting
