OverviewAmazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly and is looking for a Data Center Technician to join its Infrastructure Operations team. The position will ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels for data center operations. Responsibilities include computer hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, installation of equipment, documentation, and providing innovative solutions inside the data center. The team operates in a 24/7 environment and may participate in an on-call rotation. Candidates must be able to work independently and in a team, establish work priorities, communicate effectively, and respond quickly.The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Canadian Personnel Security Clearance to the required level, as a condition of employment. The security screening assesses an individual’s reliability and loyalty to Canada and may include verification of identity, citizenship, education, credentials, references, credit and/or criminal background checks, and security interviews.
