Job Overview The Gas Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely scheduling of natural gas on the Westcoast Pipeline system. This position is responsible for assessing nominations, confirmations, capacity requirements, and customer imbalances while supporting contract administration activities and delivering exceptional customer service. Drawing on knowledge of pipeline operations and the natural gas industry, the Gas Scheduler ensures compliance with industry scheduling standards and contributes to the productive operation of daily gas scheduling cycles. this role requires a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness, and sound decision‑making. Gas Scheduling is an essential business function that provides coverage 12 hours per day, 365 days per year. This position requires participation in a shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities Meet all gas scheduling cycle deadlines in accordance with North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) requirements. Execute daily gas scheduling activities accurately and efficiently to support uninterrupted pipeline operations. Utilize the LINK gas management system to evaluate nominations, confirmations, scheduled quantities, and customer imbalances.
