As part of the Liquid Waste Services Department, you will confidently handle pipefitting tasks, performing repairs and modifications to various systems. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial settings and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Collaborate with other trades and Operations staff to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute various pipefitting jobs at Journeyman level
• Measure, cut, and install various types of pipes
• Supervise and direct the work of helpers
• Ensure safety practices are followed at all sites
• Troubleshoot and adapt existing piping systems
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 with Trades Qualification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Capability to work in enclosed sewage areas
• Valid B.C. Driver's Licence and health certificate
• Must provide personal hand tools
