Arabic Tutor - SEN School North London | 4 Hours Per Week | 2 x 2-Hour Sessions

A welcoming and supportive SEN school in North London is looking for an enthusiastic Arabic Tutor to provide tuition to students for 4 hours per week, split across two 2-hour sessions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Arabic tutor, teacher or fluent Arabic speaker with relevant teaching experience who is looking for a flexible, part-time position within a specialist education setting.

The Role:

- Deliver engaging and accessible Arabic tuition for 4 hours per week
- Work across two 2-hour teaching sessions each week
- Plan and prepare appropriate Arabic language activities and resources
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs and abilities
- Support students to develop their Arabic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as appropriate
- Monitor progress and provide encouragement and constructive feedback
- Create a positive, patient and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure tuition meets students' individual needs





The Ideal Arabic Tutor Will:

- Have a high level of fluency in Arabic
- Qualified Teaching Status in the UK
- Have previous tutoring, teaching or educational experience
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging Arabic tuition
- Be patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with young people
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be comfortable working with students with special educational needs
- Previous experience within an SEN setting would be advantageous but is not essential

This role would be ideal for an Arabic teacher or tutor looking for a versatile position alongside other teaching, tutoring or professional commitments.
