Shape the future of snowboarding as a Freestyle Coach at Blue Mountain Resort. This part-time role is dedicated to developing young athletes through progressive training and skill building.
As a Freestyle Snowboard Instructor, you will create a fun and constructive setting for aspiring snowboarders. You’ll work with the coaching team to refine training plans tailored to enhance athletes' competencies, fostering their love for the sport. Engaging consistently with parents will strengthen the community aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a motivating and secure training atmosphere
• Work with team leads to create effective coaching plans
• Demonstrate techniques to support skill development
• Document training activities daily
• Maintain open communication with parents
Requirements:
• Hold at least CFSA Level 1 or CSIA equivalent
• Prepared to work outdoors in unpredictable weather
• Previous coaching or competitive experience preferred
• Strong communication skills are essential
• Availability to work on weekends from December to March
