Collins Aerospace is hiring a Machine Operator – Shotpeen. The role supports and maintains the robotic shot peening process.Location: CA-ON-OAKVILLE-1400 ~ 1400 S Service Rd W ~ 1400 SERVICE.Work Shift: Weekday Afternoon (Monday-Thursday 4x10; 4:00 pm - 2:00 am).What You Will DoSetup equipment by loading and unloading of robotic shotpeen work centers.Follow part process techniques, operation sketches and special handler instructions, including loading/unloading of shot peen machines and airflow, intensity and pressure techniques.Work alongside Process Technicians to optimize machines and produce quality parts.Monitor and optimize efficiencies of the automated line.Read operation sketches and work instructions to identify requirements.Minimize and mitigate machine downtime through the use of the ANDON system.Maintain acceptable production and quality levels, departmental equipment, safety in the workplace, and good housekeeping.Support continuous improvement,



5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications You Must HaveHigh school diploma, with a minimum of one year of relevant manufacturing experience.Solid PC skills and understanding of written work instructions.Demonstrated experience in material handling and hoist operations.Eligible to work in Canada; must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP.Qualifications We PreferDemonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane safely.Salary Range: 61,334 CAD – 77,738 CAD.Benefits include medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, tuition assistance, and incentive compensation programs where applicable.RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
