Responsibilities





Working the counter at Tim Hortons means keeping a lot of moving parts in order at once. From greeting customers and taking their orders to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment , every task you handle contributes directly to the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of the restaurant.

- Take customers' orders at the counter and ensure accuracy and promptness
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a friendly, professional attitude
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods as required
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining area
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Carry and replace linen as part of regular housekeeping duties

Requirements / Skills

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience
- Language: English is required to communicate with customers and team members
- Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
- Availability: Must be able to work on-site at the Port Dover location; no work from home option
