Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair:

Perform thorough diagnostic inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues. Conduct repairs on components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Routine Maintenance

:

Complete regular maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair vehicles. Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies, including hybrid and electric systems.

Customer Communication:

Work closely with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle issues, repairs, and solutions in a clear and professional manner.

Collaboration:

Partner with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow, timely repairs, and consistent quality.

Quality Control:

Ensure all work meets manufacturer and dealership standards. Perform post-repair inspections and road tests to verify performance.





Mentorship:

Support and guide apprentice technicians, sharing knowledge and fostering growth within the service department.

Skills and Qualifications

Certified Journeyperson:

Valid Journeyperson Certificate in Automotive Service or equivalent certification.

Experience:

Previous dealership or automotive service experience as a licensed technician required.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of diagnostic systems, vehicle electronics, and mechanical repair.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to perform precise, high-quality work while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Team Player:

Works well in a collaborative environment and contributes to a positive team culture.
