3GA Marine Ltd. is looking for a Marine Mechanical Engineer to work in Vancouver offices, focusing on innovative projects in the marine industry. This role combines design responsibilities with hands-on inspections.

As part of our mechanical engineering group, you will engage in both current vessel designs and refits. Your work will involve drafting using AutoCAD, running design calculations, and participating in on-site surveys. You'll also be expected to support VR design reviews and training, contributing significantly to the project lifecycle from inception to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:



• Design marine systems using AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools • Conduct design calculations meeting regulatory requirements • Create detailed specifications for marine projects • Implement 3D scanning techniques for efficiency • Provide insights on project budgets and timelines

Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent • Must be eligible for EIT or Professional Engineers License in British Columbia • Preferred experience in ship repair or shipyard settings • Strong technical writing and drafting skills • Proficient in 3D CAD software and engineering concepts
