CIBC is hiring a Consultant, Java Back End Developer, to deliver on multiple enterprise applications within the ECIS team. This position allows you to focus on the technical design and strategy, while working in a flexible hybrid model that values your contributions.

Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate complex application development and programming • Design infrastructure solutions using Java and Microservices • Develop technology roadmaps that meet business goals • Support intermediate developers and conduct code reviews • Enhance existing applications and drive new technology adoption

Requirements: • 5-8 years of experience in Java, Docker, and SQL • Proficient in CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies • Understanding of security scan tools and cloud technologies • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Solid analytical and project management skills
