and mentoring to team members Work in collaboration with other internal departments including but not limited to actuary, risk control, claims, marketing, business development, and legalOversee the maintenance of programs (renewals, endorsements, etc.)Research current trends in the industry pertaining to new and existing programsEducation and ExperienceUniversity / College degreeObtained or working towards CIP designationCRM, FCIP is an assetMinimum 3 years of Commercial underwriting experience, commercial programs experience is preferredIn-depth technical knowledge and experience working in both property/casualty and automobile linesExceptional knowledge of underwriting principles, concepts and methodologies in a commercial environmentExtensive knowledge of commercial rates and pricing to effectively underwrite and attract target businessInterested in a career in a company where collaboration and diversity of expertise are at the forefront?
