We are looking for a limited term Financial Accountant to support the accounting activities of the Accounting Operations team by delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end processes, maintaining key accounting reconciliations, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization. This role contributes to the integrity of ENMAX's financial information while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing service delivery to internal and external customers. Major Responsibilities Complete accounting and month-end activities for assigned areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, allocations, and reporting. Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial analysis and insights.



Collaborate with business partners and Finance teams to resolve issues, provide guidance, and support business decisions. Prepare and distribute period-end reports, schedules, and ad hoc financial analysis. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements. Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, controls, efficiency, and customer service. Support ongoing financial reporting, audit requests, and special projects as required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered where appropriate. Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and financial modelling.
