Why this role matters: Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Jack.Org’s financial operations while providing timely reporting, financial analysis, and strategic insights to stakeholders across the organization. This role combines hands‑on accounting responsibilities with financial planning and analysis, helping ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, effective grant management, and informed organizational decision‑making. As Jack.Org continues to grow, the Senior Accountant will help strengthen financial processes, support operational excellence, and contribute to the organization’s long‑term sustainability. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and management reporting packages. Build and maintain financial models and forecasts, monitoring forecast accuracy and identifying significant variances. Perform monthly statement of operations analyses across programs, departments, funding sources, and budget‑to‑actual results. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and prepare variance analyses for month‑end reporting. Prepare month‑end journal entries and support timely monthly close processes. Review
